Olive here for another Tortie Talk Tuesday. Guess what today is? It’s Dexter’s Seventh Gotcha Day! My big bro was the first of the Three Chatty Cats to join the household and it was in the month of June – the 20th to be exact. And did you know? June is the same month I arrived (but a year later).
Our parents used to joke that June was the month for new pets. Our woofie brother, Eddie, arrived first in June 2003. Then Dexter came along years later in June 2010. Then me in June 2011. Stupid Sophie had to ruin it by showing up in the month of November. So, now I say that us special ones arrived in June.

Olive here! Just dropping in to say hello and give a few updates. Mom and Dad are finally back from vacation. They went off and left us with Grandma. You may have seen Sophie complaining on social media that their vacation was 11 years long. But I’m calling her out as an exaggerator! (It was only 8 years.)

Olive here! It has come to my attention that some readers have noticed that I don’t appear on the Mama’s blog as often as my siblings. Or that I ever appear with my siblings in pictures. So, I thought I’d drop in today with a couple of updates and one surprise for you.
First off, let me tell you that I like to keep things mysterious, which is why I don’t allow the Mama to snap my picture often. She always has a camera or phone in her hands, so I usually run the other way when I see her coming. But when I do allow it, I look oh so bee-oo-tee-full! Don’t you agree? Well, don’t you?!?

The most important announcement of the day, obviously, is that today is My Gotcha Day! I’ve been living with the Moms and Pops for five whole years now.
