Happy Friday! Today is our 7th blogoversary! We started Three Chatty Cats back on January 20, 2016. I can’t believe it’s already been seven years. It’s been a fun ride, and it’s not over yet. Thanks for following along on our blogging journey. Continue reading “Chatty Cats: 7th Blogoversary”

Chatty Cats: Menuless Breakfast
Hello! I wanted to start by thanking everyone for their kind words about Harley. And thank you to those who made beautiful graphics, to those who donated in Harley’s name, and to those who sent cards in the mail. Harley was loved by many and knowing that has been so comforting. Many have asked how the cats are doing. Dexter, Olive and Sophie are fine. For a while, Woodrow was pretty clingy, always wanting to be near and also sleeping curled up in the crook of my arm all night. He’s doing better now. We’re all settling in (whether we want to or not) to our new normal. Again, thank you for all the love and kind words. Continue reading “Chatty Cats: Menuless Breakfast”
Chatty Cats: One Last Chat with Harley
Harley: Mama, listen up! And take some notes.
Mama: ∗Grabs notebook∗ Ready!
Harley: Tell Sophie her purse is in the garage in the closet under the stairs behind the Christmas decorations in a box marked Donations. Continue reading “Chatty Cats: One Last Chat with Harley”
Chatty Cats: Harley’s Complaint
Happy Friday! Unfortunately, it’s been a rough week here for Mr. Harley. He hasn’t been eating well (he’s been on an appetite stimulant for a couple of years). So, a trip to the vet was in order yesterday. His white blood cell count was really high, so we’re treating him for an infection for now, and we’ll do a recheck next week. He’s currently on several meds (long-term) and now we’ve added a couple more until next week. He’s a champ, though, and everyone knows he’s still the senior cat in charge.
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Continue reading “Chatty Cats: Harley’s Complaint”
Chatty Cats: Thankful
Happy Friday! We hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving here in the US yesterday. Have you recovered from seconds yet? We had a very yummy dinner with the Cat Dad’s folks. We also want to let readers know how thankful we are for you. Your comments, kind words and love for the cats mean everything to us. So, thank you for being you! Continue reading “Chatty Cats: Thankful”
Chatty Cats: Asked and Answered
Happy Friday! Last weekend I attended the Costa Mesa Cat Extravaganza that was put on by LCWW Group (Loving Cats Worldwide). While it was a cat show with judges, there were also a lot of fun vendor booths – and lots of cats available for adoption! It was a nice little cat show and I was happy to see cats being adopted.
Here’s what my cats were up to this week. We hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Chatty Cats: An Agreement
Happy Friday! It’s been a bit boring around here this week, although we did get a good downpour and Sophie was pretty excited about that. How was your week? More exciting over there? Continue reading “Chatty Cats: An Agreement”
Chatty Cats: Do Not Disturb
Happy Friday! It cooled off here this week (we even had some rain), which means that it’s finally time for kitty cuddles. Dexter and Sophie were over-the-top adorable this week. As you’ll see. We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! Continue reading “Chatty Cats: Do Not Disturb”
Chatty Cats: Olive’s Bad Hair Day
Happy Friday! A quick Harley update. He had his annual echocardiogram this week and passed with flying colors. Basically, no changes. Yay, Harley! Continue reading “Chatty Cats: Olive’s Bad Hair Day”
Chatty Cats: Woodrow’s Non-Answer
Happy Friday! Readers who visited last week know that Cat Dad and I were on vacation (a hint below at where we were). We returned in time to tune into the CWA awards ceremony where I won two Muse Medallions! I entered two categories this year, and I’m so honored that I won the Muse for both. And even more exciting, it’s for two categories that I’ve never won a Muse before (social media and photography). A big thank you to the contest judges – and an even bigger thank you to Katherine the contest chair for doing a wonderful job with the contest this year.
