We here at Three Chatty Cats have a lot to be thankful for. So for our Sunday Selfies, we thought we’d pass along our thanks.
First off, a big thank you to Auntie Ellen – I mean the Tooth Fairy – over at 15 and Meowing for sending our little Olive some toys after her dental surgery, which I wrote about earlier. Ellen sent so many toys that Olive agreed to share some of them with foster cat Juno, who was excited to do her first ever Sunday Selfie!
Before I get to Dexter and Sophie’s Sunday selfies, I want to update you on the #GivingTuesday commentathon. It closed yesterday and I used Random.org to select the animal rescue from the comments to donate to.
And the selected rescue is… A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue, as nominated by Robin from Playful Kitty! The comment totals were less than I’d hoped for, so I added in comments from Facebook and Instagram, too – and then decided to double the donation amount. So later today, A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue will be receiving a $70.00 donation. Thank you to all who left comments!

Blog the Change for Animals is something new to me, but I’ve recently learned that it is a quarterly opportunity for bloggers to post about an animal-related cause that is near and dear to that blogger’s heart. I think this is just fantastic!
I immediately started researching more about this campaign and found out that your post can support a favorite cause or shelter, mention a foster or friend doing good, or talk about a cause-related topic in general.

Sophie here! The Mama won the Ripple Rug at BlogPaws from the Cat Style Lounge that was hosted by Hauspanther. She had seen some pictures and videos circulating on the world wide web thingy and had even looked into ordering one. But when I started showing myself as a kitty who liked chewing on various rugs throughout the house, she decided against it. I used to get a fat lip from it, likely an allergy to the rubber on the bottom of the rugs, so she thought better about getting one. I get blamed for everything!
