In case you’re shopping for your own cat or a friend’s kitty, we’d like to share some of the cat products we use. These are not products that we simply tested for a month. These are actual products we use in our house.

Cat Litter Supplies
Litter-Robot 4
We purchased the Litter-Robot 3 in 2019, and we received the Litter-Robot 4 for free as part of a beta testing program in 2022.
In 2026, we received the Litter-Robot 5 Pro for free to test out, and we sent it back. I prefer the LR4 model!

Modkat Flip Litter Box
Modkat: We purchased this product ourselves.
You may wonder why I still need a litter box if we have a Litter-Robot. Well, in my review of LR, I mentioned that Harley (our senior cat) won’t use the LR. So, we still have a regular litter box. We purchased our Modkat litter box and it is fantastic for cats who, um, aim a little high. I used to have to cover our walls with puppy pads behind our litter setup. That’s no longer needed with this Modkat Flip Litter Box! Note that we use ours without the lid.

This litter pail by PetFusion was recommended by another blogger and we purchased one after reading about it (we’d previously used the Litter Genie for years). We’ve been using this PetFusion litter pail since January 2019.

SureFeed® Microchip Pet Feeder
Microchip Pet Feeders: We received this product free of charge.
Hands down, my favorite product as a cat mom!
Back in July 2019, I emailed Sure Petcare to ask if I could review their SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder. To my surprise and delight, they sent me five feeders for free in exchange for an honest review. After setting up and using the feeders, I loved them! And the cats have been using them ever since. They’re perfect for our household because we have multiple cats, and one has a food allergy and cannot eat the other cats’ food. And since Harley was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and I need to encourage him to eat, this feeder has allowed me to leave his food out longer since it’s in a sealed dish.
May 2026 Update: Unfortunately, SureFeed no longer makes the exact model we have, which is a shame. We have used the newer model that tracks how much food is consumed, but I didn’t like it as much. And as I add this note in May 2026, I’m happy to report that all five of our original feeders from 2019 are still going strong. I have had zero issues with them! This is still my all-time favorite pet product.

Lotus Cat Tower: We purchased this product ourselves.
We’re trying to move away from carpeted cat trees in our house. When I saw this one, I purchased it directly. The cats love it! The cubby hole at the bottom seems like an odd placement, and I wasn’t sure if it would be used – but three of our five cats actually do use it – sometimes two cats at once!

Purrfect Portal Cat Door
Cat Door: We purchased this product ourselves.
I wanted an interior cat door that could be closed in case we needed to keep the cats in a room. I purchased four of these. We installed two in our litter closet doors and the other two in regular room doors. We love them, and all of the cats use them just fine. They are the cutest little cat doors!
