Oh, February. You’re a short month, but you offer up so much. Like Groundhog Day. Valentine’s Day. And President’s Day. And sometimes you give us an extra day – that elusive February 29th – for which we say thank you. But you also provide us with Pet Dental Health Awareness Month!
So, as we close out another February, I figured I should hop to and tell you about our recent dental experience with the cats. And stay tuned at the end of the post for a giveaway, thanks to Chewy.com. Continue reading “Three Chatty Cats go to the Dentist”
One of the new things we’re trying in 2017 is being a Chewy Influencer. The cats were more than excited when we signed up, since they will get to try out food, treats and products for cats.
Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Cat Treats
First up for the cats to try was the Natural Balance L.I.T. Limited Ingredient Cat Treats, rabbit flavor. I was happy to see this offering, as Sophie has been on a limited ingredient diet for quite a while.
When she first arrived at the casa of two chatty cats, she had Continue reading “Treats for Sophie #ChewyInfluencer”
The other day, someone asked me what my favorite thing about having cats was. My first response was scooping their litter obviously. Well, I jest. Scooping litter is more like number 3 on the list…4 if I’m being completely honest. Okay, okay, scooping litter probably wouldn’t make anyone’s favorite list. But with World’s Best Cat Litter™, an all-natural, lightweight, clumping cat litter, you might just re-evaluate scooping duty.
I’ve been using clay litter for a while now, so I was excited to try out World’s Best Cat Litter, a positive being that they claim you can use less and get more. What do they mean by that? World’s Best Cat Litter is the only litter that Continue reading “Waste Less with World’s Best Cat Litter #WasteLessLitter”
Some cat owners may not be familiar with the term whisker stress, a.k.a whisker fatigue, but it does exist and your cat may be experiencing it. Whisker stress can occur when your cat eats from its food dish that is a typical pet food bowl – one with high sides – and their whiskers touch the edge of the bowl while eating.
Remember, your cat’s whiskers are very sensitive touch receptors, and they are a sensory tool for your cat, helping it navigate their world and surroundings.
To eliminate whisker stress, it is a good idea to feed your cat from a shallow dish, so their whiskers do not touch the sides of the bowl while eating. If you want to relieve your cat’s whisker stress (and who wouldn’t want to do that), why not do it in style?
Today we are giving away a beautiful and classy Whisker Stress Free Cat Feeder from Trendy Pet!

Dexter: So I says to Ma, “Ma, I really want a cat bed that’s shaped like a piece of cake.”
Sophie: Why cake?
Dexter: Why not?
Sophie: Good point.
Dexter: Anyway…the next day – boom – there’s a cat bed that’s shaped like a piece of cake!
Sophie: Our mom really is the best.
Alright, perhaps it didn’t go down quite like that, but I knew my cats would be excited to test out the Kitty Cake Cat Bed from Best Pet Products, Inc. Read on to see what Dexter and Sophie thought and then stick around to enter our giveaway for your chance to win a Kitty Cake Cat Bed!
