Dexter: Well, Mama. I’m off. Mama: Where you headed? Dexter: To space! Mama: Huh, that’s not what I was expecting. Dexter: I feel like it’s time to start exploring. Mama: My timid dreamer…all grown up. Dexter: I think I’m ready. I’ve got my snackies and my blankie all packed up in here. Mama: Hey, is…
In the wee hours of the morning on Thursday, January 30, 2025, my beautiful Dexter passed away. It was unexpected, and we are devastated. I will write more when I’m ready, but I wanted to let you all know. Because I know you loved him. I will be taking a small break from the blog….
Happy Friday! Two announcements this week. First, we just passed our 9th blogoversary on Monday, January 20th. This is our 683 published blog post, of which 350+ have been part of the “Chatty Cats” series. Thank you to the cats for posing for photos and being my inspiration. And in honor of the upcoming holiday, I thought we’d do some festive flashbacks on this fine Friday (including ones with our sweet Eddie and Harley). Hope you enjoy them, and have a wonderful Christmas!
Happy Friday (the 13th)! We hope everyone had a nice week. Not a lot going on here with the Chatty Cats. Dexter decided to take photos with the other cats this week. And Woodrow was just happy he got to sit in the comfy chair with the others. Have a wonderful weekend!
