Chatty Cats: Who Am I?

Happy Friday! Dexter was back at the vet this week for an ultrasound for his tummy troubles. Unfortunately, they saw something, so he needs to go back again next week. I’ll give a better update when I know more. Long story short, he’s been vomiting. While on meds, he’s fine (eats and acts fine), but of course we want to know what’s going on.

Wishing everyone a nice Memorial Day weekend here in the US (and just a nice weekend everywhere else). Continue reading “Chatty Cats: Who Am I?”

Chatty Cats: Toe Beans, Glasses and More!

Happy Friday! Short and sweet today because this week hasn’t been fun. I’ve been under the weather with a cold, and Dexter went to the vet for a pancreatitis flare-up (he’s had it before). Dexter is doing well now, and I’m doing okay. I plan on taking lots of naps this weekend.

Chatty Cats: Woodrow Jr.

Happy Friday! You may remember that we adopted a puppy in December. Guster was 6 pounds when we got him. He’s now 5 1/2 months and weighs around 27 pounds. None of the cats like him, but Woodrow tolerates him. Guster is still very much a puppy, but he’s calming down gradually, and I’m sure the cats will come around. Have a wonderful weekend! Chatty Cats: Sophie’s Dilemma

Happy Friday! The big news around here is that I took away the king-size comforter that the cats were using on the sofa chair. Being spring now, I thought it was a bit much. Sophie didn’t speak to me for a bit, but I did replace it with another (smaller) blanket. I didn’t hear a thank you.

Also, did you see our post about taking your cat to the vet yearly? If not, you can check it out here. Have a great weekend! Continue reading “Chatty Cats: Sophie’s Dilemma”

Today, I’ll go over why taking your cat to the vet yearly is important, even if they’re not showing signs of illness. And I will also share our personal experience with annual checkups over the years. Continue reading “Should I take my cat for annual vet visits?”
