Chatty Cats: Gotchas, Plans and More!

Hello, friends! I know it’s been a minute, but I wanted to drop in and let you all know that the cats are doing well. As I mentioned to someone on Instagram the other day, I’m trying to find my spark for posting again (both on IG and here). I’ve missed it. I’ve missed you all, and I think I may be ready again. So, chats today with all three cats!

I’m dropping in specifically today (instead of my usual Friday) because it’s Woodrow’s 9th Gotcha Day! We adopted him in 2017 after fostering him for a couple of months. He’s the lone boy cat here at House Chatty Cats now. And while he’s not a cuddler to Olive and Sophie like Dexter was, he does keep them on their paws as the annoying middle child.

Mama: I kind of lost my drive.
Sophie: Your what?
Mama: I lost my heart a bit.
Sophie: Did you look for it?
Mama: Hmm, that’s not really how it works.
Sophie: The first place I always look for something I’ve lost is in my purse.
Mama: But your purse is always lost.
Sophie: Exactly.
Mama: That doesn’t make sense.
Sophie: Never you mind, Mama. We’ll find your heart together.

  16. Happy Gotcha Day Woodrow!! Good to see you guys!!! (I barely blog anymore myself!). Your blog is one of a few that still come to my inbox. Sooo many others have stopped coming to me for unknown reasons and it’s frustrating!! The kitties look fabulous and I’m glad you’re doing well!
