Chatty Cats: Christmas, Purses and More!
Happy Friday! We hope everyone had a nice Christmas yesterday. We sure did. Sophie is over the moon with the new purse that I bought her. And surprise, surprise – she hasn’t lost it yet! Let’s see if she can make it to the New Year.
2025 is coming to a close, and it was a quiet blogging year for me. After Dexter passed in January, I lost my motivation. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about him. But here’s to looking ahead to a brighter 2026. Wishing you all the best. Happy New Year!

Woodrow: Hey, Mama.
Mama: There’s still 30 minutes until dinner.
Woodrow: That’s not what I was going to say.
Mama: Really?
Woodrow: Olive told Sophie to tell me to tell you that we’re hungry. Pass it on.
Mama: And who am I passing it on to?
Olive: We were passing it on to you, Dum Dum!
Mama: Well, you can tell Sophie to tell Olive that dinner is in 30 minutes.
Woodrow: Mama said dinner is served!!!
Mama: Your telephone game needs work.

I have missed you and your adorable cats. I get it though. I lost Gracie a few months before Dexter and I still miss her. She used to write my blog. I’m still trying to develop Sasha’s personality.

Happy New Year! That purse is DARLING! Ohhh I hear you about losing your motivation when a pet passes, and I totally get it about Dexter. When Cody and Dakota passed they pretty much took my desire to blog with them. That’s why I just barely blog anymore. It just isn’t the same. May 2026 be extra gentle to all of you!
