Chatty Cats: Dexter, Gotchas and More!

Happy Friday! A couple of weeks ago, I shared kitten Olive pics for her gotcha day. Now it’s Dexter’s turn! Yesterday was my handsome boy’s 14th Gotcha Day! We gotcha’d him on Father’s Day in June 2010. He is the original Chatty Cat and started me on my cat journey as an adult. Dexter is a mama’s boy, he loves his sisters, he tolerates Woodrow, and he lets Guster know what’s what. Dexter is my sweet old, grumpy mancat.

Flashback Friday with Dexter

Here are some old photos of Dexter (before the days of decent smartphone cameras).

Dexter’s first bath after we found him all dirty on the streets in 100+ degree heat.

  4. Oh, what a darling Dexter! And how wonderful you were to save this little sweetie. Bon anniversaire, Dexter! And mama would love to know more about training a young kitty on a leash so that as it grows up it can be in places where mama might travel and take the kitty.
