Chatty Cats: Yoga, Goofballs and More!

Happy Friday! We had a rainy week here, which was a nice change. We definitely need the rain in Southern California. But don’t you worry, the cats were still able to enjoy daily sunpuddles. We hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Here’s what the cats were up to this week!

Are You Okay?!?

Woodrow: MAMA!!!
Mama: Wha? Huh?
Woodrow: You’ve been sleeping for days!
Mama: If days means 20 minutes.
Woodrow: It felt like days.
Mama: Are you hungry?
Woodrow: No. Yes. Teehee.

Olive: I mean, you better not.

The Paw Helps

Mama: Whatcha doing?
Dexter: Oh, just having a think.
Mama: You’ve been having a think for a while now.
Dexter: It’s a deep think.
Mama: Does your raised paw help you think?
Dexter: Obvi.

Bonus Friday Blooper

Sophie is disgusted that I would dare put my feet next to her (you know, on the ottoman).

  1. We say we have ottomans but cats think they are cattomans. Ted isn’t too happy when I use ours either. Lots of toe beans in the photos this week. Sophie saying “cheeeeeese” cracks me up!

    Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

  2. One stray and one feral figured out how to get up to my bedroom window and look sad while it rained. The stray was ket inside. I would have let in the feral too (she lives here) but she got scared and ran off.

Exciting development has been a pregnant opossum! And a skunk in my bedroom (I got it back outside without incident/spray).

  3. Harley, that is a good trick with getting Momma to give you a treat. You’re like a Jedi master!
