Our Original Litter-Robot Review
Back in early 2019, we purchased two Litter-Robots and then wrote a non-sponsored review (Litter-Robot was not involved and we received no free product). We simply wanted to share our experience and felt cat parents would find our review helpful when considering a Litter-Robot.
We’ve been using the Litter-Robot for nearly two years now, and we would still recommend it (even with our holdout Harley not using it). Be sure to read our full and in-depth review which includes information on:

Update from Original Review
Since writing our original review, Litter-Robot has come out with cleaning products to help make the cleaning process easier. We purchased the wipes and spray and find that they work well. But for a thorough cleaning, I put the entire bonnet in the bathtub and scrub it down with hot, soapy water. For a quicker cleaning, I hose it off in the back yard and then use the Litter-Robot cleaning spray and wipes. Living in Southern California, it’s usually sunny enough to allow the bonnets to air dry for a few hours – and then they’re good to go!

Another wonderful giveaway. We think big Ted would not be a fan of the litter-robot. He’s just such a big boy and we have a very large “wash tub sized” (!) litterbox for him which he uses and loves. Changing that arrangement at this point (we think) wouldn’t be wise. We know someone will be overjoyed to receive this though!!!!!!

What a great giveaway. One of my cats would definitely use this. The other would be hesitant at first but adapt.
My cats have and use a litter robot. Samson is a large tuxedo (19#) cat and never actually gets all the way into the robot, but after 1.5 years he wouldn’t use anything else because the litter is always clean! It’s all about priorities. He and his sister Deliah (bengle 9#) are both fans however she goes all the way in. No problem scratching out litter or not keeping in what needs to be kept in and it totally contains the smell. Love the litter robot!

Years ago Dad had an automatic litter pan. Not a litter robot but it worked well. They finally died and since we now came along and there were so many of us Dad went to Jumbo sized litter boxes made of our storage containers. We would like to give this a try

A friend got one of these. Loved it till his cat started being attracted to the motor and stopped the cleaning cycle. Set up a webcam to watch, then triggers through the app. Cat occasional causes it to break completely. Friend added a smart switch so he can also reboot from work.
One cat = robot, motion webcam, smart switch, and 2 apps!!!! But he still swears by it!!

I think my cat would love it! We already use a domed litter box so she’s used to the size and shape. I would love the convenience of one of these, I’ve been wanting one for years!!
I think my cat would love it once she got over the confusion. If we ever move her water or food it takes her a couple weeks to remember where it is, she’s not the brightest. I think once she got used to this she would be quite happy to have constantly clean litter.

This would be such a big help to my family. I work a lot and my kids are no help when it comes to cleaning the litter box. i try to clean it as often as I can but sometimes it can be days before it is changed :(

I have been researching this for about a year now.
