PetFusion (Day 9 of 12 Days of Giveaways)

Day 9 of 12 Days of Giveaways is all about satisfying your cats need to scratch and giving them a stylish place to lounge. Today, we’re reviewing the Modern Cat Activity Tree & Scratching Post from PetFusion!

Disclosure: We received a Modern Cat Activity Tree & Scratching Post free of charge from PetFusion in exchange for an honest review. All opinions stated here are our own. Three Chatty Cats only shares information we feel would be relevant to our readers.

Putting It Together

The cat tree arrived in a pretty big box, and everything was nicely wrapped to prevent damage. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to put the tree together. It might be a tad tricky to put together by yourself, but I got creative and was able to assemble it alone (well, no other humans, but cats abound!). The instructions do list a tip for assembling by oneself.

Once assembled, Sophie was the first to give it a thorough sniff-check, both front and back, of course.

Next up, the Amazing Leaping Woodrow!

And once Woodrow claimed the top spot, he didn’t budge. Poor Dexter didn’t get a turn right away.

The cat tree is very sturdy and easily held up under Woodrow’s leaping abilities. Its wide and heavy base doesn’t allow for any wobbling. And the tall scratching post allows for cats to reach up and get a good scratch in.

Unfortunately, since receiving this item, I’ve learned that it’s been discontinued. However, we’re still able to give one away! But if you’re looking for something similar, check out PetFusion’s Ultimate Cat Climbing Tower & Activity Tree on Amazon!

  1. Now that is adorable! Compact but still has a high spot and a hidey spot. Did Sophie ever figure it out? I hope so! She looks so cute standing up wanting some assistance! I do think Ted would like this (as long as he can fit in the tube of course!).

    Hugs, Pam

  2. Boogie โค๐Ÿพ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿพ MrDink’s ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿน๐Ÿพ & Baby Red ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿน๐Ÿพโค would love to win this cute tree ๐ŸŽ„ from PetFusion & said they are being very good & on the nice list!

  3. My cats would love this!!! They can finally get away from the dogs!!! lol The old one, the puppy ate! Ooops

  4. I definitely like this style of this cat tree. It’s made me think about getting some new ones for this house. My cats like a very high perch, so I would need to find a taller one. I’ll take a look at their other products.

  5. Yes, I have a few cats that would really enjoy this activity tree. I currently have five cats after taking in three strays this summer. This would be helpful to persuade the kitties to scratch this instead of furniture.

  6. That’s such a nice activity tree! Even though Sophie would rather be picked up, she did a great job of demonstrating how tall the scratching part is. :)

  7. My cat would most definitely enjoy this activity tree. I like that your article states that it has a wide and heavy base, so there is no wobbling. My cat had a cheap and lightweight scratcher tip over on them, so it’s important to me that the tree or scratcher won’t tip over. My cat would love this and so would I. It would help to keep my cat from scratching the furniture and jumping on things they shouldn’t.

  8. My babies would absolutely love this cat activity center~๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’— Thanks soooooooo verrrrrrrry much for the chance to surprise them with this~๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’— They deserve everything!!!

  9. What purrfect timing. Our secondary scratcher/perch has seen it’s last day. I’ve been looking at ones but there are so many to filter through and the ratings are all over the place. It’s nice to see the size with a real kitty for comparison and a good recommendation. Definitely one for the wishlist.

My cats LOVE their PetFusion window perch. I love it’s appearance, quality, and adjustability.
Me kitties and I would adore this!! It would be the ideal replacement for a perch/scratcher in my home office area that has really passed it’s prime!!

  11. I love the action pics! Typical of a Sophie to be the first to do the sniff test. MOL
We have the floor to ceiling one for our bedroom and Iโ€™m very happy with how sturdy it is.

  12. My cat would absolutely love this tree. I can picture her now lounging all over it and playing on it and scratching it. She might not even wanna play or sleep with me anymore! Oh well, I’ll just put it away at night.
