Happy Friday! As you’ll read below, it’s been a long week. I imagine returning from a trip, no matter how short, always makes the next week feel a little long. Here’s to hoping that the weekend doesn’t feel too short!
Here’s what the cats were up to this week!
Shy Sophie
Grandpa: Are you coming out of there?
Sophie: Are the parental units home?
Grandpa: No.
Sophie: Pass.

Sophie loves our regular cat sitter, but she isn’t so keen on Ross’ dad when he comes to stay with them. The report is that he hasn’t seen her yet, but she’s coming out to eat (thanks to the microchip feeders, he knows that much).
Bad Mama
Woodrow: You’re back, I see. Where were you?
Mama: We went to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in San Francisco.
Woodrow: Did you bring me a chocolate wand?
Mama: I may or may not have eaten it on the car ride home.
Woodrow: Mama!!! You’re always eating my presents!
Mama: I’m pretty sure this was the first time.
Woodrow: Well, now I’m going to eat something of yours tonight and see how you like it.
Mama: That’s fair.

The cats were happy to see us when we got home, even if we were empty-handed. Sophie was the most excited and demanded pets before we even put our bags down. (Btw, if you’re a Harry Potter fan, this play is a must-see!)

love the way you said what one said to another… that is the way the mama started a conversation what ended either with BUT I WANT IT! or ALL have/can do that … and I’m the only one who caaaan’t!
Sophie and Dexter are so cute together! I find the same thing with Manny and CB; I love to snap photos of them napping together, then I look at the photos and see I’m capturing the same set up time and time again! I revel in the subtle differences.

fyi: I just saw that the New Beverly Cinema (Bev Hills/Hollywood) will be showing the various Harry Potter films starting on Feb 1. Looks like 2 afternoon (2pm) screenings for each film… though I didn’t really look closely.

I love the gossip train MOL and those Sophie and Dexter cuddle piles reminds me of our crew. Mr. Jack will cuddle with Scout, but they also practice purr-jitsu. Then without fail, every morning Ollie and Charlie will cuddle for hours, then in the afternoon, it’s cuddle time with his brother Baggie. I hope Sophie warms up to Opa someday! :)
