Happy Friday the 13th! I hear there will be a full moon tonight as well. Anyone doing anything spooky in honor of Friday the 13th? We’re off to an Angels baseball game. Nothing too spooky about that. If you haven’t already, check out my post about my visit to a wonderful cat cafe called Cat & Craft!
Here’s what the cats were up to this week!
Mama Not Needed
Harley: Excuse me! Why are you packing? Where are you going? How long will you be gone? Who will feed us? Why is my world ending?
Mama: I’ll only be gone for one night. Cat dad will be here. He’ll feed you.
Harley: Cat dad? Last time he gave me Olive’s food. Olive ate Dexter’s food. Woodrow ate his food AND Sophie’s food. And I only got 18 treats!
Mama: And somehow you survived to tell me about it.
Harley: … Be gone with you woman!
Sophie: Oh good, you’re home from your night away abandoning us. Quick, bring me my purse and my reusable shopping bag!
Sophie: I’m off to the 99 cent store. They’re having a half-off sale on beans!!
Mama: I’m not taking you to the 99 cent store.
Sophie: It’s called Uber, Mama!
Woodrow: Whatcha got in here, Mama? Anyfing for me?
Mama: Like what?
Woodrow: Maybe a treat?
Mama: Let’s see…nope, no treats.
Woodrow: I see one right there!
Woodrow: Right there, Mama!! Eddie, give me a boost!
Mama: Uh oh, the drawer is closing…
Woodrow: Mama, the treat is right there! I see it, I just can’t reach it! Eddie, come on, teamwork!
Saving for Later
Mama: Olive, you’ve got food on your nose.
Olive: I’m saving it for later. I put it there on purpose.
Mama: On your nose?
Olive: Where else should I keep it? I don’t have pockets, Mama!
Mama: Dexter, have you seen my phone?
Dexter: Ummm, no. ∗giggles∗
Sophie: Psst…Woodrow. Have you seen my purse?
Tortie Tummy Time
Mama: Olive, I love your tortie colors. They’re so beautiful!
Olive: Borrring! Tell me something I don’t know.
Bonus Friday Photo
We had a new front door installed this week. Dexter wasn’t too happy about having an introoder in the house. He crawled up under a blanket. It just so happened that Woodrow was on top of the blanket. This is the closest I’ll ever see them cuddling.
Have a wonderful weekend!
