Happy Friday! We had another quiet week here at the Three Chatty Cats household. Cat dad Ross was away at a conference. I think Sophie missed him, but the other cats took advantage of his spot being empty on the bed. He’s home now and all is right in the world for Miss Sophie.
Here’s what the cats were up to this week.
Harley vs. Mama
Mama: Excuse me?
Harley: Treats now.
Mama: Try again.
Harley: Treats or else.
Mama: Good enough.

A Snoozie Sunday
Woodrow says Sundays are for hammock snoozies. Do you agree? ☀💤
Current situation. Sophie is trying her best to catch up on sleep from a long weekend of playing hard. But Dexter is doing his vocal warm-ups and refuses to do them in a different room. He says why should he not feel the comfort of the big bed? It really allows him to open up, both vocally and emotionally.
(Not So )Deep Thoughts
Mama: Whatcha thinking about, Dexter?
Dexter: Just life.
Mama: Ah, I see. Any deep thoughts or revelations?
Dexter: Who am I kidding? I’m thinking about treats, Mama. Treats!
Mama: Well, I can see why you’re thinking about that. Treats are a very important part of life. An essential food group!
Dexter: I knew I liked you for a reason, Mama.
When Woodrow Attacks
Woodrow: (butt wiggle)
Mama: Olive, behind you!
Woodrow: (butt wiggle super speed)
I use the cubby hole in the downstairs cat tree to store cat toys. For the first time, I saw Woodrow climb into it. First off, he was in heaven, rolling around on all of the toys. Then Olive walked by…and as you can see, Woodrow decided the cubby was a good hiding spot to pounce from. Don’t worry, Olive can hold her own. She is a tortie after all.
Mama: Are you two going to get up and do anything today?
Dexter: Oh Mama, you’re so funny!
Sophie: Such a hoot our Mama is!
Bonus Friday Photo
Woodrow is a pretty chill cat, but I rarely ever catch him belly up like this. He must’ve been pretty tired after a long day of tormenting Olive.
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
