First off, Happy June! The year seems to be flying by, as years tend to do. We had a short work week in the U.S. due to the Memorial Day holiday observed on Monday. But for some reason, the work week seemed long to me. Funny how that happens. Anyone else feel the same? Anyway, I’m glad it’s Friday!
Dexter: Mama, you know that I love Sophie and Olive, right?
Mama: Of course I know that.
Dexter: But sometimes I just want to be by myself.
Mama: I know what you mean.
Olive: Keep still, Dexter. I’m trying to get comfy.
This photo is from exactly one year ago, and I’ve likely shared it before. But besides being super cute, it’s one of my favorites because rarely do the original “three chatty cats” hang out together like this.
Sophie: Hey Dexter, you have something on your face.
Sophie: Don’t worry, I’ll get it for you. Yummm…someone had chicken for breakfast.
Mama: Woodrow, you can’t keep your eyes open. Go to bed.
Woodrow: I’m just meditating, Mama. Harley told me it’s good for my soul.
Mama: You mean the same Harley who is eating your treats right now?
Woodrow: Yes, that Harley. Wait, what?
Mama: What are you doing, Sophie?
Sophie: I’m taking the time today to remember those who have fallen while serving our country.
Mama: You’re such a sweet kitty, Sophie.
Can’t Help Himself
Harley: Stop touching me, Woodrow.
Woodrow: I can’t help it, your furs are so soft and fluffy.
Harley: Touch me again and you’ll meet my soft and fluffy paw.
Woodrow: Cool! I’d love to touch your soft and fluffy paw. My paws are a complete mess right now. I need to ask Mama for a nail trim and a general sprucing up.
Olive: Mama, I’m sick and tired of that camera in my face.
Mama: But the camera loves you.
Olive: Do you want ME to keep loving YOU?
It’s Booping Time
Woodrow: Hey, Mama. Will you boop my nose?
Mama: I’m busy right now.
Woodrow: Aww, come on. Boop it. BOOP IT!
